Andy Cherry was elected chairman of Colonial Region last night by acclamation. He succeeds Michael Stafford, who led the region the past two years.

Cherry is a recent graduate of Leadership Delaware and was Vice Chairman of the region when Stafford announced his resignation shortly before Election Day, effective in mid November.
