Former NRA president John Siegler drew loud applause with a brief speech in which he announced he will be a candidate for Republican State Chairman in 2011, seeking to succeed retiring chair Tom Ross.

Kevin Wade, former U.S. House candidate delivered a stirring and learned dissertation on the merits of the FairTax that also drew wide praise last night.

Sussex County committeeman Don Ayotte also addressed the standing room only crowd about his bid for state chairman.
