New chairman John Sigler is off to a running start in his efforts to rebuild the Delaware Republcan Party.
His New Beginnings fundraising drive appears to have been successful enough to have warded off threats of closing the office in the immediate future. The party appears to have sufficient funds to meet its immediate obligations.
The party has also begun to formulate its new rebuilding committees, many of which met for the first time this week. Groups working on minority outreach, technology and communications and other areas will meet regularly throughout the summer.
