The House of Representatives passed a state budget for FY 2012 with little debate and surprisingly little dissent. Seven Republicans joined all 26 Democrats in passing the budget 33-8.

The budget raises spending over FY 2011 levels by 6.15%, after a 7.0% increase last year.

The Senate will debate the budget this week, with little resistance expected.
