Senate Committee Chairs

Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) wants to return to the practice of the caucus electing chairmen of committees by secret ballot. The policy makes some chairs nervous, since they have their power safely locked away. Brown will likely get his way, but will it matter? Democrats are not likely to be the majority in the next Senate.
